BIM one was established with a clear vision and strategy - to challenge ourselves and our industry partners to think differently during the delivery of the complex elements of civil infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on Utilities Coordination and Design, BIM Management, and a refreshing collaborative relationship-focused approach to Contract Administration.

We bring an in-depth understanding across all aspects of civil infrastructure delivery, including highways and rail design, procurement and contract administration.

Our team comprises engineers, designers and technical specialists who each bring tier-one engineering consultancy and big-project experience. We have leveraged this experience to build a suite of digital systems and workflows tailored to improve efficiency and generate cost-effective technical solutions for our clients.

Utilities Coordination and Design

We pride ourselves on being the specialist subconsultant of choice for the delivery of utilities coordination and design on major civil infrastructure projects. Our team comprises engineers, designers and technical specialists who each bring tier-one engineering consultancy experience. We have leveraged that big project experience to build a suite of systems and workflows tailored to the delivery of the utility coordination and design scope.

BIM Management

Our team are taking a fresh approach to the emerging field of BIM on civil infrastructure projects - finding new ways to implement digital technology into the day-to-day running of projects. We are working with our clients to digitise site investigation data, develop BIM construction specifications, manage design and as-constructed models, and apply "RetroBIM" processes to retrospectively create Asset Information Models (AIMs) for old assets.

Contract Administration

We have long and successful history of administrating construction contracts on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Transurban and local Councils. Members of the BIM one team are prequalified within TMR’s IBCP system and can assist in Contract Administration, Site Surveillance, and preparation of Contract / Tender Documentation.
